1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to TripInsta. By accessing our website at tripinsta.in or booking any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.
2. Booking and Reservations
2.1 Booking Process
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by TripInsta
- A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit/payment
- You must provide accurate and complete information during booking
- Prices are subject to change until booking is confirmed
2.2 Payment Terms
- A non-refundable deposit of 25-50% is required to confirm most bookings
- Full payment is typically due 15-30 days before the trip start date
- We accept UPI, bank transfers, and major credit/debit cards
- All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified
2.3 Pricing
Prices are based on current rates and are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes, or other factors beyond our control. Once a booking is confirmed and deposit is paid, the quoted price will be honored.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1 Cancellation by Customer
- 30+ days before departure: Full refund minus processing fees (5%)
- 15-29 days before departure: 50% refund of total amount
- 7-14 days before departure: 25% refund of total amount
- Less than 7 days: No refund
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to tripinsta.in@gmail.com.
3.2 Cancellation by TripInsta
We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to insufficient participants, natural disasters, political unrest, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to another date.
3.3 Modifications
Changes to bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Please contact us as early as possible if you need to modify your booking.
4. Travel Requirements
- Customers are responsible for obtaining valid travel documents (passport, visa, etc.)
- You must meet all health requirements for your destination
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all trips
- You must be medically fit to participate in the activities included in your trip
- Minimum age requirements may apply for certain trips
5. Conduct During Trips
All travelers must:
- Respect local customs, traditions, and laws
- Follow instructions from trip leaders and guides
- Treat fellow travelers and staff with respect
- Not engage in illegal activities
- Not possess or consume prohibited substances
- Arrive on time for all scheduled activities
We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive or dangerous, without refund.
6. Liability and Disclaimers
6.1 Limitation of Liability
TripInsta acts as an intermediary between travelers and service providers (hotels, transport, etc.). We are not liable for:
- Acts or omissions of third-party service providers
- Delays or changes due to weather, natural disasters, or other force majeure events
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
- Personal injury or illness during the trip
- Any consequential or indirect damages
6.2 Assumption of Risk
Travel involves inherent risks. By booking with us, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to participate at your own risk.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of TripInsta and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
8. Photos and Media
TripInsta may take photographs and videos during trips for promotional purposes. By participating in our trips, you consent to the use of your image in our marketing materials. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your trip leader.
9. Complaints and Disputes
If you have any complaints about our services, please notify us in writing within 7 days of the trip completion. We will investigate and respond within 14 business days.
Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
